Hello, and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Melissa, and I am the founder of RISE Learning Studio. As a former public school educator and a mom, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges that many students face in a traditional, one-size-fits-all education model. I’ve watched bright, capable students, including my own daughter, fall through the cracks because their unique needs and learning styles weren't being met.

This experience fueled a passion in me to create something different—a learning environment where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated for who they are. I believe that education should be a hands-on, engaging journey that allows children to explore their interests, grow at their own pace, and discover a genuine love of learning. This is the vision behind RISE Learning Studio, and it's the foundation of this blog.

My goal is to share knowledge, and ideas, about academics and child development to help empower homeschool families like yours.
